Hello,
I am new to SD3 and until now I used logic pro built-in drummer to create my drum lines. One of the best Logic Drummer feature was the possibility of tweaking the pull-back/push-forward feel which comes very handy when you work with funk/soul tracks.
Is there an easy way to do something similar with MIDIs in SD3?
In the Grid Editor, you can select the instrument that you want to “push” (move notes forward), or “pull” (move notes backwards). Use the Nudge feature to move the notes in small steps (you can select the nudge value in the Options menu on the top right side of the Grid Editor).
There’s also a keyboard shortcut to nudge: alt + keyboard right/left arrow.

Thanked by: Emmanuel CambierIn the manual it says that you can set the value of the nudge and there is also an image showing it !
But there simply isn’t any setting for it on the GUI of my SD3 version 3.1.5 ???

Nudge is available in the Grid Editor as well as the Tracker. The value in the grid editor can be adjusted by either hovering over the value and click-drag up or down. The tracker also adjusts by time.

Is there a more elegant solution to this now? It makes loops act in odd ways. I’m also an Ex-Logic Pro drummer and used that feature quite a lot. Big part of the beat

You can use 1/128, Milliseconds or Resolution as values ( Options > Nudge Unit )
I use keyboard shortcuts to move selected notes left and right by holding CTRL and using the left and right buttons on my PC keyboard.
Works great !
