Sorry I didn’t see this earlier.
I am a bit confused, though. Are you referring to Pro Tools tracks or EZplayer Pro Arranger Tracks? I would guess you mean Pro Tools Tracks and it is possible but I do think you would get better help faster at the Avid User Conference Forum than here.

Are you “recording” with e.drums? If so what type? Or you meaning to take the grooves from a Toontrack browser, either in Superior or EZplayer, and split them into separate MIDI regions?

I’m actually recording my own drum tracks using a Roland TD-10, along with Protools and Superior Drummer 2.0.

I heard that to be able to have separate Midi tracks on protools for each part of the drums, I need to use EZPlayer Pro as a way to let Superior Drummer 2.0 record Multi Midi out/tracks on Protools.

I’m just wondering what are the setting (steps) on Protools, Superior Drummer & EZPlayer Pro to get one midi track for Kick, one midi track for snare, one midi track for hi-hat, etc. (Multi MIDI Out/Tracks Recorded on Protools)

    Thanks again

    Hi,

    sorry for missing this.

No, you do not need to use EZplayer Pro as some kind of bridge/splitter if you want to have your kit pieces separated on different MIDI Tracks in Pro Tools.
There is no way to set up Pro Tools to record one note from e.g. the Kick on one MIDI Track and another note from e.g. the Snare to another MIDI Track.
What you do, is you record your performance with your E-drum kit and when you are finished you use the Split Notes function in Pro Tools to separate your recording into separate MIDI Tracks (which all will need to be assigned to the Superior 2 plugin).
I recommend reading up on this in the Pro Tools manual.

    Best Regards,
    John
