[ProTools] Midi THRU with EZ Player/Superior 2.0

So I’m quite comfortable using EZ Player and Superior in PTLE 8.0 but for the way I have it set up it requires me to have the S 2.0 instrument track “record enabled” for me to hear EZP via the play button.

I’m wondering if there’s a magic trick to enable midi thru so as to not need to keep clicking the record enable button. Sometimes I forget when drums are muted that I have the record arm enabled and have accidentally recorded over the S 2.0 track. Pretty annoying esp if hours go by without me noticing.
