Protools 2020.1 and SD3

Bummed finally bit the bullet on ProTools just to find out it needs .aax format 64 bit only plugins. All I get when installing SD3 is a VST plugin. How do I get the proper plugin for ProTools v202.1 latest version as of Nov 28th 2020?

Hi,

the SD3 (3.2.3) installer includes a 64-bit AAX, you shouldn’t need to do anything, it installs automatically to the Default location for AAX plug-ins.

If you navigate to ‘C:\Program Files\Common Files\Avid\Audio\Plug-Ins’, you should find the Superior Drummer 3 plug-in there.
