Protools 12 and EZKeys Midi Out

I tried adding EZKeys per the manual, but it may be that it only works on Protools 2020 and I have Protools 2018 version 12.

Is that the issue – that’s it’s not supported in my older version of PT?  Otherwise, I followed this procedure:

1. I cannot load a mono version on EZKeys on an instrument track.  It only appears on a stereo instrument track.

2. I load EZKeys on a stereo instrument track and enable “Midi Out” from the dropdown menu

3. I create a stereo instrument track and load Expand2! as a basic midi instrument.

4. I select EZKeys as the input.

5. I doesn’t send midi from EZkeys to the Expand2 track.
