    Hi,

    1. how do you know it is EZdrummer 3 crashing Pro Tools?
    2. What kind of crash is it and do you get any error messages? You can screen grab and post here.
    3. Do you have a crash log/report? If so, please zip archive it and attach to a post here.
    4. Is it existing Sessions, new ones or both?
    5. Have you tried thrashing the Pro Tools Preferences?

    BR,
    John

Thanks John sorry for the late reply i was away for a few days.

    1. It crashed every time i tried to switch the drum preset
    2. no screen errors, just crashed and closed each time
    3. Do you have a crash log/report? If so, please zip archive it and attach to a post here. – Is that a crash report from protools? How do i find the crash report? Sorry, i operate protools at a moderately advanced level but not sure how to find the crash reports..
    4. Existing, and new. i tried a save as to a new name and tried again and same thing happened.
    5. I dont know about thrashing the protools preferences. Should i do that? What do you mean? how to do that?

    Thanks very much!

    Justin

I am experiencing this as well. I just updated to the most recent EZ Drummer and updated everything, using a new install of Pro Tools Ultimate, on an Apple Silicon MacBook Pro. I am able to drop a clip into my drum track, and play it, but soon as I try to click on the midi on the track, or “mess” with it in some way, Pro Tools locks up and gives me a spinning beach ball of doom. I don’t get any error messages from the OS and I end up force quitting Pro Tools from the dock.

FWIW i just noticed when it was in protools it was showing 3.0.5, and now that its re-opened outside of being called by pro tools its showing 3.1.0
