the DW toms have no dynamics,  tap the head lightly and the toms are at full volume , is this just the way it is or can it be fixed  ?

You’re talking about playing them from your e-kit right? Check your velocity curves.

Need some more details as to how you are firing the note. If it’s an EDrum controller, as suspected above, you might want to check your sensitivity settings.

Check your DWe control app. In particular the dynamic range setting and sensitivity for the toms. Think mine are 5o and 8 or something – not near my laptop.

Roland td20 , I have several xpansion packs and these toms are the only ones that do this , my settings are fine , I suspect this is just the way it is , be nice to see someone chime in who has the progressive foundry,    thanks for your replys

Are. you using a preset? If so, which one?

I use e-kit (modifed Yamaha DTX900) and no issues with Progressive SDX volumes for any of the kit pieces. cheers, Andrew
