I’m using Sonar. I’m taking a midi file (not done in EZ Keys) and using the EZ Keys for vsti. I want “atmospheric depth”. When I bounce the track to audio, it’s switches to “Standard” and bounces it down that way. Wassup?
Clearly there is some sort of program change going on. I can see it, it starts to bounce then instantly switches from atmospheric to standard. The only thing I can think of is that I have some midi files in the song track. Are these somehow imbedded with program changes? It’s very odd. I don’t have “follow host” selected, and the midi files are later in the song so they are irrelevant, I’m only storing them there. Do I need to delete them? Does this thing do program changes? Thanks.

Yes, EZkeys responds to MIDI Program Change so that you can change the preset
from your keyboard. We will offer some way to disable that in the next update.
>Do I need to delete them?
Yes, most likely that non-Toontrack MIDI file of yours starts with a program change.
It is not exactly a CC message like the sustain pedal but I would guess that you
view and edit it in the same way in Sonar.
