I built a new DAW with i7, 64 GB Ram and 7 SSD’s…
I installed everything from fresh
The new Cubase and Nuendo put all Toontrack programs under the “Blacklist” since they are VST 2.4
I needed to activate it (every toontrack plugin separately) in order for it to work.
Now they marked as “red” in the VST Plugin manager
yje main problem, that this 2.4 reactivated and others cause Cubase and NUendo very slow boot!! between 3.5-5.5 min with aa very fast computer.
I send mail to Steinberg, but I didn’t got any answers
It happens with Natives Kontakt andOmnisphere as well
I tried everything
1/ I deleted the Cubase Roaming files – and tried again – didn’t help
2. I moved all the 2.4 vst’s and tried to add every plugin separately – didn’t help
3. I clean DNS – didn’t help
In my old DAW, same Cubase starts at about 1 min
and the plugins are not Blacklist
Maybe since I upgraded from 7-7.5-8-8.5.-9.9.5-10.10.5
and it took the roaming files from before.
It took me days and many hours,,,,
I’m desperate to find a solution
Thank you
Avi
