    Hi Hudson,

welcome to the Forum. You had another Forum ID tied to your product, which is why you didn’t see this part of the Forum at first.
If you check out this video, it might help getting started:

    Hi…
I have the same problem in SONAR X1 as mentioned by Hudson. I found another forum thread regarding this issue ( http://www.toontrack.com/forum/tm.aspx?m=119274 ). However, until now I haven’t found any solution. @John: The linked video doesn’t solve the problem: “The host will load the GUI for ezdrummer but it isn’t loading the data itself. For example, whenever I load the basic kit I can see the drums and can even “hit” them but have no sound. Also the indicator shows that 0 MB of the kit has loaded, which indicates to me that the kit isn’t loading.” – that was the description of David (see link above) and I have exactely the same probs. (Allready uninstalled and reinsalled all softwareparts of EZ-Drummer – including the latest update)

Please – can anyone help me on this issue?

    Hi Michael,

Please fill in your system specs on your member profile page.

Have you run the EZdrummer installer from the DVD or from the full product download from your Toontrack account (the red ‘PC’ or ‘Mac’ buttons)? Taking a look at your account, it doesn’t look like you’ve downloaded the full product just the 1.3.1 update for EZdrummer.

Is this something where it was working before and is now not working? Do you only have issues with Sonar or other hosts? Can you load EZdrummer properly in Toontrack Solo?

    Hi Scott,
Thank you for the quick reply.

I’ve just added the system specs…

I’ve installe the EZ-Drummer from the DVD. Previously I’ve used Sonar 8 without those problems. Other Software-Synths are working fine. Using Toontrack Solo it gives me an error: failed to load drummer library.

Please download and install the full EZdrummer from your TT account. Then apply the 1.3.1. 64-bit update.

Make sure you are running the 64-bit version of EZD in 64-bit Sonar and not the bit bridged 32-bit version.

… downloaded the full EZdrummer from my TT acount … applied the 1.3.1 64bit update (after the 32bit update) – but still the same Problem: The indicator shows that 0MB of the drum kit has been loaded.

Where can I change settings which version is used – bit bridged or 32-bit version?

You can tell if you’re using the bit-bridged 32-bit version or the 64-bit version from the EZdrummer interface. It should read ‘(64-bit)’ if using the 64-bit version.

If not, make sure you have the path to the 64-bit version set in Sonar. By default, the 64-bit version installs to C:Program FilesVstPluginsToontrack64bit

See this FAQ for details on setting paths in Sonar:

    Hi Scott,
thank you for this crucial hint. The path to the 64-bit version was not correct… Now it says 64-bit within the EZdrummer interface and it works fine!!!
