    Hi Gareth,

the full product Installer includes an Uninstaller, so please Download it again to get the option to Uninstall in the Product Manager.

No, uninstallation is done in Add/Remove Programs for EZD2 on Windows.

“32 bit needs to be installed before you can install 64 bit update” sounds like it is EZdrummer 1. Could you post screenshots of what Toontrack entries you have in Add/Remove Programs and which one you tried to uninstall?

    Hi Olof

Thank you for coming back to me, apologies I havent picked up on this sooner, hope the thread is still active.

Unable to load a screenshot here for some reason, but heres a list of what appears in the uninstaller:

    EZD 2 – 32 bit

    EZD 2 – 32 bit update

    EZD 2 – 64 bit

    EZD – 64 bit

I previously uninstalled everything except for EZD – 64 (which it seems is where the problem lies)

I love the program and use it all the time but I’m having huge performance issues in reaper x64 as it will only recognise the 32 bit version of EZD and the bridging software used in reaper is taking up a ton of resources. I wanted to completely remove everything and then only install the 64 bit version of EZX2.

Am I correct in thinking that the .dll file is the same for 32 & 64 bit EZD?

    Thank you

    Gareth

    EZdrummer version: 2.2.3

If you can uninstall everything except “EZD – 64 bit”, you can ignore that one – it’s for EZdrummer 1, which is overwritten by EZD2 except that the entry will remain in Add/Remove Programs.

The .dll is named “EZdrummer.dll” for both 32-bit and 64-bit, but they are different ones, so they must be located in different folders.

If the host can still open the 32-bit version after you have uninstalled it, you need to look for the EZdrummer.dll to delete in the VST folders that are used by the host (look in host preferences to see the paths).
