Hello,
I work with Samplitude pro X and Windows 7.
When i drag and drop the MIDI sequence from EZD window to the Samplitude tracks, there’s no problem,
I can read the MIDI sequence.
But the MIDI sequence file is created to C:ProgramDataToontrackEZdrummer
After recording my Samplitude project, when i reopen this project,
it don’t find the MIDI sequence.
In fact, the MIDI sequence file created to C:ProgramDataToontrackEZdrummer is a provisional file.
It is canceled when EZD is closing.
What can i do ?
I will not copy and paste this file from this directory to my project directory everytime.
Hi,
could you please elaborate? Are you using the plugin inside Samplitude or are you using the Standalone alongside Samplitude?
When you have dragged the MIDI to your Samplitude track and save, it isn’t recalled next time you open the Samplitude Project?
If so, it must be some kind of setting in Samplitude that links to the MIDI file instead of incorporating it into the Project.

When I talk about “Drag and drop”, i refer to the standalone part of EZD. Even if i’m obligated to use the plugin VST to read the sequence at the same time.

Yes that’s right.

I don’t know.
OK,
I recommend you do not use the Standalone version of EZdrummer 2 when working with Samplitude but use the EZdrummer 2 plugin instead.
It may well be a difference for Samplitude with regards to the drag-and-drop and temporary files.

Hello,
I solved my problem.
I installed the different part of EZD on several Hard disk.
It seems that my EZD didn’t like to be intalled on my C: where Windows 7 is installed, cause it create temporary MIDI on C/Dataprogram.
And Samplitude doesn’t like this.
I have installed all part of my EZD on another hard disk (where my Samplitude is installed).
And now, it’s good.
It seems that it has nothing to do with stand alone use or not, cause I always use this two versions of EZD (stand alone, and Vsti).
Thank.
