I downloaded the EZ Playerr free MIDI zip folder, and when I try to extract it by ricght-clicking -> ‘extract all’, I get this error message (see attachment):
What does this mean?
Thanks,

Roguehave you tried just to click ‘Yes’ 🙂
… but to answer your question, this is a new UAC trigger that may pop up in Windows 7 (and Vista) depending on what tool was used to create the zip archive (needless to say this pack is several years old so no I don’t remember what tool was used).

Thanks Rogue !
I tried 7z and that worked fine.
But now I was not able to drag and drop the MIDI folder into the EZPLayer interface. Is there anytihng I am doing wrong?

ScottTry deactivating the UAC and try dragging and dropping again. Turn it back on after you’ve finished.

Thanks Scott ! That did the trick !
Would it be a good idea to leave the UAC turned off?

Ok, Thanks.
Well, I was just thinking, since UAC often pops up with messages like ‘do you really want to open this or that program’ which can become somewhat annoying at times. But I understand it’s there for protection.
