Hello,
I trigger SD3 using my Roland TD-27 drum module, and I have a small problem. I added a couple toms to my system, connected to the Aux2 and Aux3 outputs of the module. When I use the TD-27 preset, these do not sound as toms. No problem, I just re-mapped so that they sound like and are recognized as an extra tom and extra floor tom. I saved this new mapping and named this new preset TD-27 Extra Toms (saved in the preset page). I also saved the “default project” of SD3 with this edrum preset as the active preset.
Problem is, when I shutdown and restart the program, even though the “TD-27 Extra Toms” is still selected, it appears that the changes I made to this preset did not save. So I have to go through the whole process again.
What am I doing wrong? Is this a bug with the software?
Thank you!
There’s another thread on this. It’s a known bug introduced in the latest version. Hopefully an update soon as this is quite major.

Introduced in 3.3.1? The previous version worked ok for me. Haven’t tried anything re: remapping MIDI in the current revision.

I think it’s the latest version. I haven’t tried saving any new edrum mapping presets yet myself in the latest version and I’m not likely to unless I get another expansion.

i am new to SD3 and have experienced several learning-curve issues. this was one of them, as i also have a TD-27 with extra triggers. i found that i had to save the configuration on the settings>”midi in/e-drums” tab, AND also save the project. when re-opening it make sure the button is outlined in blue. i’m still on 3.3.0 , build 33063 so ymmv.
