good day
I have the problem that Session Organ in my Logic Pro X version 10.05.1 causes midi freezes.
I have also tried it with many plugins from Spectrasonics, Uhe, Korg, Arturia etc. but these problems do not occur.
So I assume that it is a problem with EZKEY 2.1.1 from 2024-10-25 or Session Organ Version 1.0.0 Date 2024-02-13 I have installed.
I work with a Mac Pro 5.1 with 96GB RAM and 14TB SSD OS 11.7.10.
I probably need a new update.
Thanks for your information.
Hi,
there is no newer update to EZkeys 2 than 2.1.1. Can you find a recipe for reproducing, i.e. are there exact steps to get the MIDI freeze? What is the sequence of events? Does it end with Logic crashing? If so, can you provide logs?
BR,
John

Hi Mr. Rammelt
I have a Logic Pro project with 48khz. In this project, audio tracks are included as in screenshot 1 and 2 shown in the appendix. Screenshot Nr. 2 shows the Song in action if I play the Session Organ live in the same Time. You can see, there is low CPU and Disk performance applied.
This works perfectly as long as I don’t play along live with the Session Organ.
If I now start playing along live with the song via Session Organ on my Arturia Keylab 88 mk2 master keyboard, it works fine for a while.
(For the stress test, I set Logic to loop so that the song starts over and over again.)
After ca. 1.3 runs of the song while I play along live the session Organ to, the Logic screen freezes so that I can usually still play and the song is still playing, but the screen stays still until I close the song with alt + cmd + esc and restart Logic.
I tried exactly the same thing with the piano from EZKey and with other instrument plugins from Spectrasonics, Arturia, Korg and so one. It works perfectly as long as I want without any problems.
Thank you for furter informations
Rudolf
