Problem launching Superior Drummer 2.2 and Metal Foundry

Hi Folks, I hope someone can give me a hand here as I’m at my wits end trying to sort this out. I installed superior drummer 2.2 on my original computer about three months which operated on windows xp. Last week I purchased a new computer with windows 8 as the OS and have installed both SD 2.2 plus Metal foundry. The thing is it won’t work. I keep getting a message that “you need to set the path where you installed the sounds before you use them”. Can anyone give me some help here, I’ve not encountered this before 🙁

A couple of things.

Please download and install the latest version of S2 from your Toontrack account. The current update is 2.3.2.

Next, uncheck all of the S1-Drummer libraries (dfh Superior, Custom & Vintage, and Vintage Add-on).

Last, click the ‘Add path to library’ button and navigate to SL-Avatar ‘Sounds’ folder where you installed the 5 discs of audio files. Also, do the same for the Metal Foundry ‘Sounds’ folder.
