[Pro Tools] write to Waveforms not MIDI?

Will EZDrummer write to a waveform track in ProTools, rather than a MIDI track? Or, after dragging and dropping the MIDI track, can I then play EZDrummer via the Midi Track and write it to a waveform track?  I haven’t been able to figure this out. Thanks.

Yes,

you can insert Send(s) on the EZdrummer Track(s) routed to the Inputs of the number of Audio Tracks you wish to use.
Play the MIDI back through EZdrummer as you are Recording to the Audio Tracks.
Then you can Deactivate the Instrument Track with EZdrummer inserted.
