I can trigger the toontrack in the Protools using midi instrument track.
I want to set the midi channel. because I want to use another plug in instrument, too.
First off make sure you have instrument view active; Views > Mix Windows Views > Instruments
In the mixer window on the track you have EZDrummer inserted on, you will see the MIDI input selector at the very top on the left hand side.
You should be able to pull down the device and channel for MIDI input.
