[Pro Tools] SD2 & EZPLayer Pro In Protools 8.01 Le

Hello All:

I having a little problem I am trying to setup in Protools 8 SD2 and Ezplayer Pro, I look in the manual and did what they say to do, but I can’t get them to work together. Also the manula is using Protools 7.4 version. I think I am missing something here. Can someone give a run down how to set-up these two things in Protools and have work with each other. Also I am not sure what setting up paths mean when drums from the ad paks?

Any help would be great

Hi,

please take a look at the attached Pro Tools Template Session.
It will show you Superior 2 set up with both multiple outputs and EZplayer Pro as Input.
Be sure to read the notes for the S2 Instrument Track, i.e. don’t forget to Record Enable the S2 Instrument Track if you wish to preview MIDI from EZplayer Pro Thru S2.
To see the MIDI Routings, you must have the Instruments View Enabled in the Pro Tools mixer.

Oh?

I just downloaded it myself and opened with Pro Tools LE 8.0.1 and it opens as intended.
Do you ‘Open Session…’ and then select the attached .ptf file?

Thanks again it open great now. I am not sure what the deal was before. Please forgive me I have one more question. When I open the temple my midi controller is not working, maybe I need to turn something on. It’s M-audio unit.

The MIDI Input of the S2 Stereo Instrument Track is set to receive from the EZplayer Pro output in the Template.
Changing this to ‘All’ will make the S2 Instrument Track receive data from the controller.
