Hi,
I’m using EZDrummer with Pro Tools 7.4 and I’ve been using it as an Insert on a stereo Instrument track. It sounds fantastic but what I’d really like to do is to separate out the individual EZDrummer tracks (including the Overhead and Room mics) onto separate tracks in Pro Tools to give me some extra scope for mixing. I’ve read the help file in EZDrummer several times and it does show a section on Advanced Routing to be able to do this, but it just says to refer to the instructions for your DAW – unfortunately, specific help for doing this in Pro Tools has been pretty much impossible to find.
I would be very grateful if anyone can tell me exactly what steps I need to take to separate out the tracks – I’m guessing that with some editing I could cut and paste each of the individual MIDI notes onto separate tracks, but I think I’d be losing the overhead and mic sounds which is not really ideal.
Many thanks in advance!
