Here’s what I’m trying to do.
I have Instrument Track 1, wish Superior on it. I have my MIDI drums all laid out and finished.
So I create Instrument Track 2, and I put EZplayer Pro on it. I copy and paste the MIDI from Instrument Track 1 on it.
Then I create Instrument Track 3, and I put Steven Slate EX on it. My intention is to basically just use the Slate kit elements to double up with Superior, both playing together.
So I route EZplayer to play the Slate drums, on Inst Track 3, and that works fine. But obviously, the MIDI mapping is not exact between Superior and Slate. So I get the kicks and snare fine, but most of the other stuff is off. Is there anyway to “Wrap” it so when EZplayer Pro sends it to Slate on Inst Track 3 that it plays with the correct mapping?
Or am I going about this wrong? Would I have to export the MIDI from Inst Track 1, save it, then open it in EZplayer pro, then wrap it and drag it to Inst Track 3 instead?

In short: Yes.
EZplayer Pro does not accept incoming MIDI that way, only for controlling velocity sweeps and start/stop.
