    Hi,

if you open the Product Manager and go to the EZdrummer 2 product, then ‘Show Details’ and then ‘Installation Info’, what does the AAX entry say?

Your post is slightly confusing me and it could be read as if you are running the Standalone and are trying to link that into Pro Tools rather than Inserting the EZdrummer 2 Instrument plug-in on your Stereo Instrument Track in Pro Tools.

    BR,
    John

    Hi John,

The installation info says aax 2.1.8 under installed versions. It is also installed as ezdrummeraax plugin in everything written by Brad in the previous comment.

I made a sample track in the standalone, made a instrument stereo track and dragged from the standalone into the instrument track. It shows up and I can edit, but I can’t hear any playback within that track. I searched for any kind of I/O for the instrument track, but it doesn’t show anything to do with toontrack/ezdrummer. Even before I dragged anything, I can’t find any source for an instrument plug in on my stereo instrument track. The plug in section for the instrument track isn’t even available to click for options.

    Thank you,

    David

The standalone EZDrummer does not communicate with Pro Tools. In a Pro Tools session, create a stereo instrument track and insert EZDrummer into it as a multichannel plugin, as you would any other plugin.

I have a couple of screen shots which hopefully will help.
