My Pro Tools sessions keep crashing with the AAE: 9173 error. It states that “Audio processing deadline was not met and was caused by EzDrummer 3 Plug-In”.
I have uninstalled EZDrummer 3 but not the add on packs. It didn’t Help.
I have changed every setting in the Pro Tools Playback engine. It didn’t help.
I have deleted my plug-In preference and rebuilt it. It didn’t help.
I have been through all of the Pro Tools trouble guides and hardware requirements. No changes seem to help.
I have a Dell notebook i9 processor 64 gigs of ram 2.4gig 8 core processor. I am using the Focusrite Scarlett 4i4 for my audio interface.
Does anyone have any words of wisdom.

I have given up. I have tried everything.
Last night I downloaded the trial of Studio One. It loaded. It recognized my Focusrite. I was able to configure my buffer and sample rate. EZDrummer 3 and EZBass were recognized. Without any instructions, I was able to record guitar tracks. Add automation. Split the was file for additional processing. Pan tracks. And to top it off, use both EZDrummer 3 and EZBass without AAE 9173 error.
My Pro Tools subscription runs out next month. I have 30 days to try Studio One. Right now I think I am bailing on Pro Tools and headed to Studio One. Time will tell.
