    Hi,

I attach a Template Session for Pro Tools with EZdrummer.
EZdrummer should be inserted on a Stereo Instrument Track.
It has 8 Stereo outputs in total which can be either routed as such into the Pro Tools mixer or creatively split and panned into Mono Aux Tracks when you so desire.
The Template uses the Stereo outs in the combination 1 Stereo Instrument Track and 7 Stereo Aux Tracks.
The MIDI, you either record with a controller connected to your computer or drag from the EZdrummer Browser, should be placed on the EZdrummer Instrument Track.
If you wish to have all MIDI data on separate Tracks, you need to create separate MIDI Tracks. If you use the EZdrummer grooves, you can Split the MIDI notes into new MIDI Tracks. This is described well in the Pro Tools Reference Guide.
The new MIDI Tracks need to have their outputs changed to ‘EZdrummer’.
Once a groove is on your Instrument Track or MIDI Track, you can grab notes and move them around both for changing instrument and timing. You can also Merge two grooves together, if you have e.g. cleared all Kick drum notes from one groove and have a Hihat pattern in another.
Pro Tools 8 offers a lot more than its earlier versions when it comes to MIDI editing and operation so I urge you to read the Reference Guide.

    Best Regards,
    John

If you go to the download area, go to extra downloads, click on the folder EZdrummer, then Host Stuff, you’ll see the multi outs template.
