For which kit and preset? Do you want a channel for each drum/instrument? Do you route groups of drums into subgroups within SD3 and want to route those subgroups to pro tools aux tracks? If you could supply some detail on what you are trying to accomplish, we should be able to tell you how to achieve it. Essentially each preset will be different. Personally, most (but not all) times, I only user the stereo Output 1/2 channels out to Pro Tools or Studio One (the only DAWs I use). But if I do for some reason want to route independently out to several Pro Tools aux channels first I go into the SD3 mixer go to the “Mixer” button, top left side and select “Apply Multichannel Output”. Then in  Pro Tools create an aux channel and for each additional channel in and assign the input of the aux channel to the output of each SD3 mixer channel. As far as I know there isn’t a “template” for each SD3 preset or kit. IMHO, best to role your own and then save them as PT presets. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the info. I should have been more specific with my question. I’m looking to route all SD3 tracks to individual tracks in Pro Tools. Assuming I will render the audio out using Pro Tools instead of using the Toontracks engine. The reason I asked for a template is that I found a template for my Spectrasonics Omnisphere plugin and was hoping to do the same here instead of creating and rendering drums in SD3, not that SD3 doesn’t have a great render engine. The goal is to set up a Pro Tools template with all my virtual sounds set up . . . especially for composition.

    Thanks!

Try this. I set it up using the default kit so there are some aux inputs in PT that are not used in the default kit within SD3 but I included in the PT template incase you change to a kit or a preset in SD3 that uses them.

Is this what you were looking for?
