It has been announced here on the Forum earlier that all current Toontrack plugins will be compatible with Pro Tools 11

Any chance that you could give a time frame when EZ Player will be updated to be compatible with Pro Tools 11?

We are sorry for the inconvenience but we can not provide an ETA for the EZplayer update.

I use a variety of drum programs because clients like different sounds and articulations that are there with different programs. Steven Slate Drums, for example, before I was able to audition midi grooves with EZ Player Pro in PT 10. Now I can’t since I’ve gone to PT 11. I expected Toontrack to be quicker with on AAX roll-out on EZ Player Pro, which is the only way I can audition midi grooves with non-Toontrack drum software, for the most part. This is really hampering.

Can we at least get a “it’s coming soon” or “Ain’t happening anytime soon?” A lot of people are sending out updates to their customers on the progress on AAX updates for PT 11, I don’t see why Toontrack can’t provide at least a ball park figure for your loyal customers.

    Thanks Cool

I’m fed up to wait too…

However, i found a way to use it in PT11 on my computer (PC i7, Seven64). It’s not free and quite slower to load but it works…

If it could help someone, here is my process:

    1- I use Jbridge to convert VST32 to VST64 (http://jstuff.wordpress.com/jbridge/).
    2- I’m using Blue Cat’s Patchwork AAX64 in PT11 (http://www.bluecataudio.com).

    In PT11:
3- I create an “instrument” track.
4- On the first insert I put patchwork AAX plugin.
5- In Patchwork, I put the 64bit converted VST plugin of EZplayer and activate the chain.
6- On the second insert I put the Drum plugin.
7- I configure the instrument (on the top of the track) with patchwork Channel1 to output midi and the Drum plugin Channel 1 to input midi.
8- In Patchwork, I configure the midi for EZPlayer (midi OUT to Host and midi IN to “none”).

Don’t forget to activate de recortd on the track…

    And here we go !

Hey there, I’m also having problems with PT11 recognising Superior Drummer and EZMIX2, am I doing something wrong or are there yet to be AAX updates? I thought the software was already AAX compatible? :(

    @enbarnes27:
This thread is about EZplayer Pro AAX support, Superior 2 and EZmix 2 does indeed have AAX Support. Just install the latest updates. If you’re on Windows, make sure you run the 64-bit updaters.

AAX support for EZMix2, EZKeys, SuperiorDrummer2 and Beatstation was provided quite a while ago.
what versions of these products are y’all running?
Please log into your Toontrack account, download and install the latest updates for each.

regarding EZPlayer Pro, when I find it necessary to use it (which isn’t often anymore),
I run it in Toontrack Solo.

I sure wish EZplayer pro would get updates to AAX …it is literally the ONLY plugin keeping me form fully upgrading to Pro Tools 11, and leaving PT10 behind.
    Cry
is there ANY ETA on this (please)?
