I tried posting this a few days ago but don’t see my original post so hope this isn’t redundant – I love being able to simply cursor down through the many libraries looking for different instruments (kicks, snares, etc) to stack or replace, but everything previews at 127 velocity I think. Is there any way to preview other instruments at different velocities as we scroll through? E.g. listening to kicks at 80 vs 127 because the context is a ballad or something soft.
Similarly, is there a way to preview different articulations in the browser (e.g. the Bell Tip of a ride instead of the Bow because)?
Would definitely request this be considered for a new feature if this doesn’t exist already…Thanks!
+1
I don’t think it’s possible but I would love to see these features in coming SD3 version
Hi,
sort of, if I understand you correctly.
If you are (Alt/Option+R) Replacing an Instrument, you have the list of available articulations to the right where you can preview them.
If you are on the DRUMS page and going up and down through the list of available instruments in the currently loaded library, you can hit the loaded articulations drop-down at the upper right corner of the room image. If you switch instrument, the main articulation will be selected again, though.
In both views, you can bring up the Preview pad by hitting Ctrl+Alt/Option and pin it. Then you can preview at different velocities.
I hope this helps.

John
