Hey all,
I’m not sure if I’m doing something wrong, but it seems I can’t find the “producer presets” (for example) and MIDI presets (in the “grooves” section).
I just purchased SD3 with the optional Core Sound Library on the SSD. I downloaded the latest SD3 installation file for mac (the app only) from the My Products page.
(I didn’t use the new Product Manager. I used the regular download since my Pro Tools computer isn’t connected to the internet and thought it would be a little easier this way. )
SD3 seems to work great as a plugin in Pro Tools and seems to access all of the core sounds from the SSD (as far as I can tell on a quick try).
Can anyone tell me where the MIDI and preset files are, or should be, located so I can make sure I don’t have to install them separately?
I took a quick look in the Toontrack folder in Applications, but couldn’t tell if they were there.
Should I have installed these separately?
Thanks
EDIT:
Here’s some additional information:
-I only ran the installer. I didn’t copy the Contents folder anywhere (because I wasn’t prompted to). It seems the MIDI packs etc are not on there either.
SEE ATTACHMENT #1
-Attachment #2 is the message I get when I go to the Grooves view within the plugin.
-Attachment #3 shows the paths
-Attachment #4 shows the contents of the Toontrack folder in Applications on my iMac. Should the MIDI stuff and presets be found here?
I have the same problem. WTF?!?!
Hi Charles,
could you please elaborate a bit on exactly what isn’t working as expected and what you have done so far?
The Product Manager is recommended for all your Toontrack Product Management, did you use it?

John
