Hey Guys,
I see that with the latest update that there is now preset packs support! Any idea when these preset packs are coming out?
Thanks,
~Iz

Hi Pete.
First, make sure you’re running the latest version of EZmix (1.0.2) as the version 1.0 didn’t support expansion packs.
Second, if you have already updated to 1.0.2 and are still having trouble finding the presets, you can set one of the column headings in EZmix to ‘Preset Pack’ and scroll down through the ‘Core’ content until you see the ‘Modern Pop/Rock’ presets.
Thirdly, if it’s still not showing after the two above suggestions, check in ‘Programs and Features’ in Windows and see if the Modern PopRock EZmix pack is listed as being installed.

Aw c’mon—couldn’t you make it any larger and more obvious!!!
Confused by this. I am trying to understand if there is anyway to notice the presets that are new (if/when I get this I want to know the AM presets vs. the old ones)

Thank’s Scott,
I went to the download page for EZ Mix and I had not downloaded 1.1 it was listed as new so I did that. My problem is there is no 1.02 listed now its only the mac version that’s available.
I checked when I updated and there are still no new pop presets,

Yes, sorry Pete. I meant 1.0.1 not 1.0.2…doh!
Anyways, can you confirm that the EZmix interface reads version 1.0.1?
Also, check in ‘Programs and Features’ in Windows and see if the Modern PopRock EZmix pack is listed as being installed.

Well this is a stumper. It is showing up in the Programs and Features as installed I also tried a repair install as I had installed it before I had the origional EZ upgraded. I’m wondering if I should uninstall it restart the computer and then re-install now I’ve got the latest version in. I can’t think of anything else and I can’t see why I would need to do that. I’m stumped.

Success!
It was the old chesnut “Plugin information” in Cubase 5.5 64bit. I went back into the VST 2x plugin paths and searched for anything Toontrack, the previous time I tried this I just looked at the VST folders. I found a Program DataToontrackzEZmixpresets folder and added it to the VST2xplug in paths the way I did with the origional EZ mix and hey presto they appeared for Authorisation. They are all mixed in with the other presets so if you have the same problem you need to work your way down the list and when you hit one the Authorise box will open and you know you’ve got it sorted.
Thank’s for all your help I had missed the fact there was an update to EZ mix.

I love toontrack! :). And I now love the forums too. I had the same exact questions. I bought the modern pop ez mix plugin and could not locate my new presets. Not that it should matter because I should choose based on need, not name. BUT, you buy a new toy, you want to see what you have! ;). I found the place to add the new columns and sorted by preset so now I can see all of the shiny new toys :). Keep up the good work toontrack, you guys are great!
Happy customer :).

well, that means that you have installed the plugin in that directory – a weird choice but as far as it works for you… what I mean by this is that that folder has zero importance for plugin detection in your host, this is strictly a particular case.
… just mentioning in case other users read this post and think this is a solution that can be generalized.
