SD2 had that feature but SD3 hasn’t. It may be implemented in a future update.
In some respects it is only the GUI part that is lacking and it may be possible
for somebody to examine the registry for SD2 and then hack the registry
for SD3 to similar effect. Of course, this is unsupported and if it works now it may
stop working at any update of SD3.

LOL – what a ghost town it is – Im having the exact same ‘SAMPLER” ( User preset name ) issue – so I Googled it in Nov 2022 and found this thread – crickets since 2018……

Well I will be decent enough in case this gets searched in the future.

1- SAMPLER is a name given to a preset if the preset uses part of a library that you do not own.

2 – It appears that in order to ‘relocate’ your presets ( or reset them as I had to ) that you have to open the preset by right clicking on it, telling it to open file using SD3 and then SAVE the kit again and SD3 then places your newly saved kit in its correct folder/ per library. This must have changed in a SD3 update as I used to have ALL my presets in one folder , now SD3 saves them in each library’s specific ‘preset’ folder- but you cant just copy them in there, you must load and resave.

    Thanks me later.
