Hello,
I once decided to have my plugins in a new folder. I moved the plugins to this folder and set the plugin path in my DAW (Cubase 9.5) to the new folder. Everything worked fine. But whenever I update Superior Drummer 3 the dll is saved in the old path and I have to manually copy the file into the new folder. Is there a way to permanently change the default plugin path in SD 3 for the update process?
Greetings from Germany

i was wondering the same thing.
i am admin and only user of this PC.
The only thing that differs from the previous fonctional session are the motherboard/CPU and ram.
everything else is the same : same win7 install disc, same cubase DL from steinberg, same sound card and driver.
As you said, it could be an access to location, but i already tried on 3 different hard drives with the exact same results.
It’s very confusing ! and i’m sorry to bother you with that, but i’ve been trying to figure out what’s wrong for the past 2 days
i will try to reinstall windows, maybe a bug of some sort. Let’s see
so, windows 7 re-installed, admin rights, aaannndd same issue.
Will give a go to windows 10, hopping i can find a solution to my sound card driver’s problem later
it’s working fine now on win10, i mean, SD3 always worked on it, my sound card didn’t, though now it does for some obscure reasons. let’s see for how long ! :O
still doesnt explain why it worked some days on win7 then no longer. hmm
even if it didnt solve my issue, thank you for the help !
