Please provide a consistently working volume slider (“Level”) for MuteTail articulations! (because the default volume of some SDX cymbal models sounds weird and far from realistic). Adjusting the volume slider for MuteTails gives me weird and totally inconsistent results and this is a no-go. So please fix this. Thank you.
No answer? Hey SD3 developers, can you please explain why this simple point ( -> “Level”!) does not work for Mute Tail articulations? Makes absolutely no sense to me.
The SD3 engine picks the mute tail sample depending on the intensity of sound it is muting. Turning the volume of the mute tail up or down works but the engine will still pick a sample that matches intensity, so you will not get a louder or softer sounding tail, just one that is from a different velocity layer.

Yeah, and that’s exactly the issue and makes no sense if you want to avoid inappropriate MuteTail sounds/volumes – and I remember a bunch of cymbal models of various SDXes that gave me inappropriate MuteTail sounds/volumes.
So again: please make the volume slider function properly and ensure that it is no longer useless❗️
