Please tell me I’m not totally hooped here!

My old straight-ahead, not-much-to-it EZ Drummer hasn’t worked well for a while, so I was looking to buy something better. I found a book shop that had a copy of Superior Drummer for sale at a reasonable price so I ordered it. I didn’t use it right away until I could get a guy who knows drum pgms. well to install it for me. You guessed it – it won’t work and tells me I need to contact the original owner – one that I would have to ask over 300 million U.S. citizens if the original was theirs? Can’t I just pay some kind of fee and get the original or the useful #’s to work so I can use the program? Thanks for any help, because this is my first and so far, most hopeful entry to this site, lol.

In this case, a license transfer would need to be performed for the products that you want to use. The transfer needs to be performed from the license owner’s account.

The license transfer is the only way to move a serial number from one account to another. You would need to contact the seller and request that they do a license transfer for this serial number.

We cannot help you obtain those serial numbers in this specific case. Once a serial number is registered to a Toontrack user account and the user agrees to the terms, there is nothing we can do to remove the serial number(s) from their account without their permission, under any circumstances.
