Hello, in the grooves tab in SD2 there was a column called Kit Pieces. You could highlight say, the hi hat and when you auditioned the groove only the hi hat would play from that groove. You could then drag just the hi hat midi groove into your DAW. I really liked this feature because it allowed me to compliment my own grooves withe SD grooves. I have since upgraded to SD3 but can’t figure out how to get this functionality working.
How do I do this in SD3?
We haven’t yet implemented that feature in SD3. In the meantime you can right click a groove and “Copy”. Then right click a song block on the Song Track and “Paste >”. There you can select what parts to paste.
We have gotten some requests of this feature so we are looking into it!

This is an extremely valuable feature in SD2 for creating customized drum parts. I appreciate Toontrack considering to add this feature back into SD3. It would be much welcomed and very helpful. Thanks.
