Playing back a song in reaper ,ez drummer will not follow host

In reaper i have a song started . ez dummer and ez bass. When playing the song back with plug in open it stops playing and shuts the follow host off saying detecting another MIDI.

I have no idea after countless searching what its trying to default follow . Anyone have this happen and have a solution ?

Do you have the same MIDI data on the Reaper MIDI track that is in the EZD3 Song Track? That pop up message indicates yes. Don’t have double MIDI. Either have the MIDI Grove on the EZD3 Song Track or your Reaper track but not both.

I deleted the ez drummer that i built the track from after dragging it into a new track. So i dont know where the other MIDI is that it is following ?

The Midi track i dragged in from ez drummer will not play when i shut ez dummer off in FX in the reaper track. i’m sure its a simple fix but i’m under a year into recording and still learning .

Other thing is that the MIDI grove track will not play unless ezdrummer is in FX
