Playing along to streamed music EZD3

I know this has been covered a few times here but there doesn’t seem to be a consensus solution that I can find.

Q: How can I play my e-drums to streamed music (Tidal, Youtube, etc.)?

Running EZD 3 through Roland Rubix-22 triggered by Roland Drums on Win 11.

What “Roland Drums” do you use?

It’s a TD10 EXP module with roland drums/cymbals.

Connect the source of your streamed music (for instance an iPad or iPhone) via a cable to the Mix In of your TD10. Then use the Mix In knob on top of the module to adjust the sound level. This should do the trick.

That didn’t work, unfortunately – but I did find a solution. Phone into A/I through 1/4 inch line in with a 1/8 inch to 2x 1/4 inch adapter.
