Playback sync with Superior Drummer 3 and Pro Tools 2019

Hi,

I’m running Pro Tools 2019.10 and latest S3 Drummer software and would like to control playback from S3 Plugin.  I can stop and start but can’t place the cursor where I want it without having to click on PT session to get cursor where I want it.  I know it’s something simple but I am not finding it.  Thanks.

Hi,
Pro Tools cannot be controlled by plugins, so controlling the Timeline in Pro Tools with the SD3 plugin is simply not possible.
If you do not run the PT Timeline and have Follow Host Disabled, you can of course click the timeline in the SD3 plugin’s Song Track and play this independently.
