Playback lag in latest version Ableton Live 12 Arrangement View

Hi,

Since updating to 3.1.0 I notice in Ableton Live Arrangement view if I am playing the track I’m working on and jump to different sections of the arrangement, the audio for the drums seems to take about a second to come in. Ive noticed same behaviour on Superior Drummer 3 latest version too (I’ll post there too). Its fine in session view changing scenes and its ok if the audio is stopped , but cannot seek without this annoying playback lag.

I have  checked and unchecked Follow Host , same issue. I changed messing around with buffer settings, same issue.

I’ve had to revert to the previous version (3.0.6) where this behaviour does not occur at all.

Posting the same reply here as in your Superior Drummer thread:

Sorry for the inconvenience! We have noticed that this issue is occurring when 44.1kHz sample rate is being used. The programmers are investigating.

Other than downgrading, which you have done, another workaround is to use a different sample rate.
