I’m an EZD2 user. Until this week I’ve used it as a very fancy metronome to play along to. I want to try using it for drums in tunes (in a DAW). I’ve bought Backbeats MIDI and Country Grooves MIDI and would like to hear the patterns played with brushes.
I’ve been reading the forums and I don’t think there’s a brushes kit included with EZD3 or I’d just upgrade. I’ve read on the forums that there are brushes kit presets in at least these four EZXs:
EZX Nashville (“brushes kit”)
EZX Custom Shop (“fast brushes”)
EZX Jazz (“brushes delight”)
EZX Big Band (?)
I selected the “Show web shop midi” option, then “Brushes” under Play Style and it only shows two selections:
EZX Singer-Songwriter
Legacy of Rock
That’s all.
When I select “Swirls” under Play Style it shows:
Decades
EZX Big Band
EZX Custom Shop
EZX Jazz
EZX Vintage Rock
Why doesn’t EZX Nashville appear and EZX Custom Shop only appears for “Swirls”?
Is it related to the included MIDI that comes in EZX Nashville and EZX Custom Shop?
I’d be grateful for some advice. I’d like to have a preset that’s a kit played with brushes to hear how it sounds with the MIDI files I’ve just bought (Backbeats, Country Grooves). Can I buy an EZX to do that?
Thanks in advance for any advice.
Colin
I took a chance and bought Custom Shop EZX.
That product manager program made everything straightfoward.
A few minutes later and I’d two new ready to go presets – “Jazz Brushes” and “Uptempo Brushes”
Love them both.
Thanks.
