When dragging grooves to the Song Track, I’m guessing Sign, Tempo, and Follow Host (if enabled) dictates where the groove can be dropped? if so, how can I drag a groove to the Song Track and place it wherever I want even if SD3 thinks it’s not in rhythm?
It’s going to drop wherever you put it regardless of Time Sig. It will just operate like linear Legos, one after the other. If you can’t get a Groove to go/drop exactly where you want it, zoom into the Song Track more to increase it’s grid resolution.
If you need it all to look visually better, you can add Time Sig/Tempo changes to the Song Track manually to match your DAW, but not needed since you’re following host. See the Track Menu in SD for that (i think), I’m not at my computer right now.

Ok thanks for responding. I am going to try the resolution suggestion as sometimes I am not able to drop a groove exactly where I want.
