Picking and mixing cymbals and shells in Death and Darkness?

Is it possible to make a custom kit in SD3 with the shells from a Darkness preset and the cymbals from a Death preset? The Monster City preset really matches the sound in my head of a perfect Swedish death metal kit and the bite of the default Death kit’s cyblas is just what I want.

I think I’ve been going about it the long winded way though.

Any ideas?

Yes you can mix and match any part from any sdx. Im not in front of my computer so can’t explain.

SD3 with older sdx,s plus Rooms of Hansa and Death & Darkness. Cubase and wavelab current versions. Roland TD50x using all trigger inputs for triggering SD3 only. Windows 11 computer. Various keyboards and outboard gear as well as VST instruments. Acoustic drums: Yamaha 9000 natural wood and Pearl masters. Various snare drums. RME BabyFace Pro FS and Adam A7X monitors

If you right-click on your kit piece and select Search for Instrument… you can select a kit piece from any library.
