hey… i use protools… and when i go into piano roll to create my own drums, the drums sound aloooott weaker than when i click on them in the ezdrummer plugin. why is this??
also when i drag/drop midi files the volume is fine.
help!
Probably the midi notes you are creating in the piano roll are at a much lower velocity than the notes in the midi patterns you are dragging into your session. Also clicking on a kit piece in EZdrummer I would imagine is triggering a sample that is near to full volume…so, figure out how to increase the velocity on the midi notes you are creating in the piano roll and all should be well…
