I have an issue that I can’t seem to find anyone else having. I create a song in SD3 in Reaper on my home computer. When I take that song to a friend’s house the patterns are missing in SD3 on his computer (also running the same version of Reaper.)
We have tried insuring that all the midi libraries are in the same directory structure on both computers but that hasn’t helped.
Anyone have any suggestions on what might be the issue here?
Are you both running the same version of S3?

Are the patterns in the Reaper timeline or in the S3 Song Track?
Have you tried saving an S3 project file and opening that or just a Reaper save file?

The pattern is in the S3 song track. If I remember correctly when I saved and loaded an S3 project file in to the song it worked, but I will reconfirm. Can’t test on my computer because everything works fine here, so have asked my friend to try to load an S3 project file into a song with this issue and will respond once he has done so.
Thanks,
OK, I saved an S3 project on my computer that I confirmed was working, sent it to my friend and he still was not able to see any patterns (except one short one on bar 3, which is consistent with what we have been seeing and I forgot to mention.) The rest of the S3 project patterns don’t load.
According to your first post, you’re running 3.2.7. The latest is 3.3.2. Are you sure you’re both running the latest version?

I’m sure. We validated that also.
Ok. The reason I’m questioning is that when I look at your account, your last update was on 2/28/22 when you updated to 3.2 8. Since then, there have been 3 other updates that don’t appear to have been downloaded and installed.
Can you upload screenshots of both S3 GUIs showing the current installed version numbers?
