path install for SD3

Hi,
Is it possible to choose the path where to download the parts of SD 3 ? How ?
If yes is it possible to choose different files ( some in a internal Hard drive, some in an external hard drive ), to get a quick loading of the different libraries?

Looking for the answer as well, so far it’s not letting me I wanted to installed the libraries on an external drive.

Hi,

 

the download files are one thing, the library those downloaded files install are another. You do not download the library directly to its installed location.

Therefore you need disk space twice the size of the library.

You can specify to which location the Toontrack Product Manager downloads install files, this can be an external drive if you wish so.

When you run the Part 1 Library Installer, you can specify the destination for the entire Library, which also can be an external drive.

The download files and the installed Library do therefore not need to be on the same drive but the installed Library cannot be split over volumes, so the installed Library must all be in the same location.
