Why can’t I cut and paste project loops from the plugin into the standalone and vice versa. Keeps saying the clipboard is empty. This should be an allowable feature as it is easier to use standalone when writing on the fly and then could export to the vst when ready to record.
Hi,
I think it’s a matter of what kind of key strokes and commands are passed onto plugins or claimed by the host.
One kind of workflow for standalone and another one for plugins isn’t optimal.
Why not save Projects in the standalone that you recall in the plugin?

So are you saying hat I can build a song project in the standalone and then open it from within the plugin version?
Update: tried to do that but guess what, there is no “open” button in the plugin so no way to do this. How do you suggest I accomplish this?
Yes, if you save it as an EZdrummer 2 Project.

You’ll find “Save Project…” under “Project” in the main menu, found at the top right corner of EZdrummer 2 ![]()
