I um using REAPER 3.75 32-bit on Windows 7 x64, EZPP 1.0.7 and Superior Drummer 2 2.2.3
I have EZPP and SD2 inserted on a track, in that order. I can play grooves in EZPP and hear the output from SD2; everything is working fine here. The track monitoring is set up for MIDI thru. If I disable EZPP and press the key C2, I hear the kick drum triggered in SD2, so I know MIDI note data is making its way to SD2. However, when I enable EZPP, the note C2 is not passed through to SD2. The blue MIDI Indicator at the upper left of EZPP lights up, so I know that MIDI data is making it into EZPP, but EZPP is not passing it along to SD2.
As a test, I have tried to arm a track in the arranger of EZPP and record MIDI notes such as C2. Nothing is recorded.
As another test, I have tried to use the MIDI learn features in EZPP. This works: I can get EZPP to recognize and respond to a continuous controller.
So why will MIDI notes not be recognized, and not passed through? I must be missing something basic here. Please help.
in the EZPP fx tab select the MIDI button and be sure the MIDI output>merges with MIDI input is checked. i think that may alleviate your issue i hope. i know theres a thread in the S2 DAW section about this.
