Howdy,
Bit of a random one, but I have a template setup in logic pro x 10.5 with a multi output instance of SD3 on it. Nothing fancy, intended to route: 1/2 Kick, 3/4 Snare, 5/6 HH etc etc so all I’ll have to do is apply multichannel outs to any preset or kit and it will map to logic accordingly.
Interestingly enough, whenever I hit mixer > apply multichannel outs it skips output 5/6, maps 1-4 and 7-24. I can manually adjust this of course, but I thought this was strange and keeps things a little messy. Anybody have any experience with this? Thank you.
Hi,
haven’t seen this one. Have you updated to the latest Logic Pro version 10.5.1 that was released a few days ago?.

Hi, I realise I misread your post but still, I cannot recreate in Logic 10.5.1 with SD3.1.7. Can you record a short screen cast?

Here a screencast of the issue
Seems to happen with any and all presets. Haven’t updated logic yet.
*edit: Seems to only happen to presets that utilize more than two busses. For the first two busses it will apply 1/2-3/4 after that it will skip 5/6 then go out of order from there.
Hey Ryan,
The output selection is not random when applying multi out. Outputs 5/6 are usually reserved for the snare bottom mics (depends on the library), which in many presets are routed into the same bus as the top snare mic(s).
