    Hi,

how exactly did you export the Tom Tracks?

Does your Nuendo timeline have Tempo and/or Signature changes?

Yes, Nuendo does have tempo changes in this song. All at 4/4.
I didn’t think this would be an issue because SD3 follows the changes to a T.

Well, you didn’t answer my question how exactly you exported the Tom Tracks?

If you e.g. used the SD3 Internal Bounce, have ‘Follow Host’ enabled and haven’t replicated the Tempo changes on the SD3 Track, there is no way for SD3 to know where the Tempo changes are when producing the Offline Bounce. Following Tempo changes in real-time is another thing and is of course no problem. If you Offline Bounce without Tempo information on the SD3 Song Track and ‘Follow Host’ enabled, the Bounce will have the same Tempo throughout as where the current tempo is where you have your play head on the Timeline.

Understood.   So if I enter tempo changes in SD to match Daw.  It should work, correct ?

    Yes.

If the Tempo changes are complex, you can export a MIDI file from your DAW and use ‘Import Tempo from MIDI file’ in the SD3 Track Menu.
The same would apply to Time Sig changes.

Once the Tempo changes are in place on the SD3 Song Track, you Disable ‘Follow Host’ and then Bounce the. Song Track.

Now your exported Audio files should line up and sync perfectly in your DAW when imported.

    John
