Orchestral Percussion – midi note 42,44, 46 triggering wrong instrument

When I set a pad on my Vdrums to midi note 42, 44 or 46 it doesn’t trigger the thunder plate or gong – it seems to trigger another instrument.  (they keyboard in SD3 triggers the correct instrument)

If I set the midi note of the Gong to say note 1 and my  TD30 pad to note 1, it works.

Any thoughts?  I’m using USB midi.

I am making different TD30 Kits to trigger different sets of instruments within the same SDX.

Hi,

 

you are using the TD-30 MIDI map Preset, right? So incoming MIDI in SD3 gets mapped to other notes. Open the MIDI In/E-drums settings to check which notes get mapped to where.

Alternatively, disable the TD-30.
