I habe two toms. They both work on the kit’s module. But in EZDrummer when i select Millenium kit (which i ofcourse own, the MPS 850), the right tom doesn’t have a function. (Just bought ezdrummer)
Hi,
if you open the Property Box for the Tom that doesn’t make a sound in EZdrummer 2 (assuming the Rack Tom 3), you can click ‘Details’ and then you see which notes are expected for the Tom in question. You will also see at the bottom of that pane, a ‘MIDI In -‘ monitor. When you hit that Tom, which note is being received?

When i hit the tom, A1 is being received. Also when i hit the rim of the toms, the crashes are triggered.
Hi,
which EZX Preset are you using?
You have enabled the Millenium MIDI Mapping Preset in Settings > E-drums?
The Rack Tom 3 has got A1 (#45) as its Center hit, so that should produce a sound. What is your module set to, regarding the notes on the Toms?

Hi,
I use the Millenium preset, I honestly don’t know what my module is set to regarding the notes of the tom. I thought ezdrummer regulates that. I might try to contact the maker about it?
Hi,
from what I can gather of the manual found online, you can:
1. Press [KIT].
-> The display shows the kit list.
2. Press [MENU]. Use the arrow buttons ( ‘) to select the option TRIGGER and press [ENTER].
-> The display shows the list of trigger parameters.
3. Use the arrow buttons ( / ) to select the parameter to be changed.
-> In your case you want to check MIDI NOTE
4. Strike the pad whose parameter you want to view/modify.
-> If you hit each Tom, what are the note values for each?

John

Hey, I think I fixed it. No idea how, previously when i clicked millenium kit on ezdrummer nothing happened, this time it changed the layout.
Edit: i’m in fact really stupid. The problem was that I had 80’s sound on… Although i don’t really understand why that changed it.
But thanks for al the replies :), I definitely feel heard.
